Rafael is married to Josie and they have two kids (Clara and Natalia) and are expecting a third one. Rafael earned his MDiv and PhD from Southern Seminary. They will serve in São José dos Campos, Brazil where Rafael will mainly be involved with theological education through Fiel Publishing House and a network of seminaries. Rafael and Josie are members of Third Avenue Baptist Church and are on the final stages of preparation for the move to Brazil.
